Kalle to Khalil?

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?

This is a thought I have been toying with for several years already, as I see name as a part of your identity, your ka.

My Christian name is Kalle, which is quite difficult for everyone outside Finland (and Sweden) to pronounce. On the other hand, I am no longer Christian, but Muslim, and as it is, I would like to use my Muslim name, Khalil.

It is the same name I use in my blog, havestories.com, and I am not ashamed to write contemporary LGBT fiction, such as Habibi (part 1 and part 2), which I also welcome you to read!

So maybe I should just change my name?
